7. Grok is NOW FREE

   You no longer need an X Premium subscription to try it out. Instead, X is rolling out a freemium model letting everyone use Grok for free with some limits.

   Here’s everything you need to know:

   10 Free Prompts: Every 2 hours, you can use Grok to ask up to 10 questions or prompts.

   Free Image Generation: Create up to 10 AI-generated images every 2 hours.

   Image Analysis: You can analyze up to 3 images per day—beyond that, you’ll need a subscription.

   This freemium model makes Grok feel more like OpenAI’s ChatGPT or Anthropic’s Claude, which also offer limited free access. Until now, Grok was locked behind the X Premium paywall, costing $8/month or $84/year.

   Why make it free?

   xAI, the company behind Grok, recently raised $6 billion, bringing its total funding to $12 billion. By making Grok free, X seems to be aiming for mass adoption and more data, just like its competitors in the AI space.

   Here are my thoughts:

   This move makes sense. If Grok wants to compete with ChatGPT or Claude, it needs more users and putting it behind a paywall was never going to cut it.

   But the 10-prompt cap feels restrictive, especially if you’re someone who likes to experiment.

   Still, it’s a good start. Let’s see if Grok can deliver on its promise of being the "snarky" AI assistant X claims it to be or if it’ll get overshadowed by its rivals. For now, it’s worth checking out (as long as you don’t hit those limits too quickly).

   "Learn to code" is beautifully simple and direct. It avoids technical jargon or specific programming languages, making it accessible to beginners while clearly stating what users will achieve.

   The direct comparison "weeks, not months" immediately communicates the key value proposition - faster learning. This structure creates a clear before/after scenario that highlights CodeFast's key advantage.

   By challenging the conventional timeline for learning to code (months), the headline suggests that CodeFast has optimized the learning process in a meaningful way.

   The headline also does a nice job of tapping into a common pain point among aspiring programmers - the lengthy time commitment traditionally associated with learning to code. By promising to reduce this time investment, it addresses a key barrier to entry.
